The time-space portal created by the Ouroborus has destabilized the sea, resulting in the appearance of massive whirlpools at random times and locations. Ourboros in-game Ecology Update 4 - Whirlpools View a little clip of exploding Zellyfish at the end of this video. These correspond to the hazards found in-game around the map. They will grow until they explode, dealing their elemental hazard to any within reach. However, hitting them with your tusk will activate them. In game, these Zellyfish can be moved around with your tusk. Keep your distance or risk triggering a chain reaction. Beware, as they are incredibly sensitive and can explode upon contact, releasing a cloud of dangerous elemental hazards that can harm nearby players. These creatures consume the elemental energy of the hazards and store it within themselves.
